hi everyone,
last year during february at wolf creek sanctuary here in Southern Oregon we had an amazing winter camp wherein we skillshared so much! we made pemmican, smoked meat, studied and applied primitive building skills, observed flintknapping, brain-tanned deer hides, and much more. Finisia and her faerie Hoop crew were the main participants.
we have 80 acres of faerie sanctuary to work and play in, and rustic warm and dry space for about 20 people.
i want to do it again! and i can’t do it alone. so! i am calling for primitive skills folks who want to share their skills in wilderness survival, who would be interested in joining us for a week in mid-february, to plant garlics, possibly do some agriculture too (barley/greenhouse), learn braintanning, rain catchment systems, primitive building, storytelling, food preservation, bicycle maintanence, and whatever you can bring to the longhouse!
dates aren’t set, but we can make this happen together.
love,
lopi!
