Wisconsin Public Radio, Zoos, and Derrick Jensen

Hey all,

I’m letting everyone know that Derrick Jensen will be talking about his book “Thought to Exist in the Wild” and about the tiger escaping from San Francisco Zoo on Wisconsin Public Radio tomorrow morning the 26th of December. He will appear on Joy Cardin’s morning show at 6:00 AM. You can listen live on the radio, internet or retrieve it from her archives.

I’m really excited about this. I have been trying for almost five years to get a WPR show host out of Milwaukee or Madison to have Derrick on as a guest.

Take care,

Curt

Hey all,

I made a mistake in my first post. Derrick Jensen will be a guest on Joy Cardin’s show on the 28th of December not the 26th.

Thank you,

Curt

Hey all,

This morning, I got a chance to listen and call in to the radio interview with Derrick. I think the radio show went really well.

You can access the archive here (Just click on “Listen to This Program”):

And I’m really thankful that Derrick did the interview. He had to get up at 4:00 AM to do it!

Take care,

Curt

Thanks, Curt!! I’m listening to it right now.

Thanks for working to get Derrick on the air, Curt. I enjoyed listening to the show and was glad to hear all the people who called in who seemed to feel similarly.

You’re welcome, wildeyes and SilverArrow. I’m glad that you enjoyed listening to it.

Take care,

Curt

Oh, P.S. - Hearing all those Upper Midwest accents and personalities was a bonus treat for me. Sometimes I really miss the old stomping grounds…

SilverArrow,

What part of the midwest are you from?

Curt

Near Duluth.
