Out in the back corner of my mother-in-law’s yard where plan to start a garden/fence in “weeds” to grow free and safe from the mower, there’s a beautiful tangle of cardinal vine growing along the fence. I’m not about to kill them just to plant what I think is best, non-native plants who’ve been here awhile clearly fill a niche. And kudos to whoever can adapt to the soil here. But aside from being pretty, attracting hummingbirds, and providing a bit of privacy from the loud trashy human neighbors, are there any known uses for Ipomea Quamoclit?
