The Compassionate Hunter's Guidebook: Hunting from the Heart by Miles Olson

I just picked up a copy and am curious if anyone has read, is reading, or plans to read this - and what your hunting practice or plans look like? Any similar titles you would recommend?

I was kind of disappointed with it. I wish Sam Thayer would write a book about hunting. I know he knows more about plants, but I know he is a long time hunter, and his attention to detail is so good. I asked him to a couple years back, but he didn’t seem interested. Has anyone else read Hank Shaw’s book on foraging and hunting? I like it, but it focuses heavily on expensive modern equipment.
