It looks like this is it. It looks like we’re finally here. Looking down the long, bumpy road DOWN the other side of the mountain. Peak oil this month has made the same leap climate change has made in the last couple of years from fringe wing-nuttery to a hard and cold reality. Food prices are rising with the cost of crude and the US and Israel are about to invade Iran which is going to send the price of oil through the roof never to return. Global warming-induced natural distasters are ruining peoples lives by the thousands everywhere you look. Any doubt I’ve ever had about the coming decline has now completely evaporated and I go to sleep at night anxious and ready, scared and depressed and feeling fortunate that I am at least mentally prepared for what is about to unfold.
