So I’m in the middle of The Power of Myth video interviews with Joseph Campbell by Bill Moyers, and now I’m interested in Campbell’s Historical Atlas of World Mythology, but it seems to be out of print, and the only library copy I would have access to is reference only. So, I’m curious if others have read this, and found it worth the time, 'cause I’m really wary to pay $30 online for a book I may or may not enjoy.
I can read and enjoy about 1/2 of Campbell’s work… Some of it just, you know, gets very deep, or not even deep, just covers everything. Read power of myth, I also liked flight of the wild gander, heard masks of the gods is one of his best, and then he has a 4 part on mythology, forget the name of it though.
