The Fall is already here!
That is the tagline for TrackersNW’s first ever web comic and story publication. This will not be a “comic book” it will be a “graphic novel”. Ahem.
This a PAID position. We are looking for an illustrator and/or colorist that can match what is shaping up to be a shocking, incredible, and edgy script. A script written by none other than our own Lisa Wells.
Having Lisa write this comic is the ultimate coup. She is one of the best writers in our community. Lisa is not afraid to take risks and will take the book to a whole new literary level. Be prepared to have your heart ripped out and served to you while reading it. Thus I am personally very excited about this project. This comic is TrackersNW’s first step in our vision to provide funds for artists to tell truly engaging stories while painting a rich landscape of urban hunter-gatherers, primitive skills and rewilding.
Our end goal for release is the end of October. At first it will appear on the web then in prints will be available. The same “world of Cascadia” will then be open to commissions from artists of different media. These will be featured on a new Trackers site.
This could include but not limited to: paintings, photo shoots, role playing games, modeling and sculpture, writing, gallery showings, more comics, a full color magazine, performance theater, full on movie and video production
