Not sure if this is the right place, move it if you want. Anyone have any experience pit-firing pottery or making small simple kilns? I have some beads and other small baubles I’d like to fire, about 2x2 inches at the most, but I lack space and resources. I can make a small fire in a pit in this backyard, and I might be able to get a gallon metal can or bucket. Not banking on the bucket though. Advice please on a good, small, simple setup that might get hot enough for salt or ash glazing?
