I’m not sure what to write about this, other than to just bring it up.
Rewilding is a particularly white movement. It’s most vocal people are mostly white males. I feel like in order for this to continue, it must be diversified. I’m working slowly on this in Portland, attempting to connect with under-served communities and wrap them into the things we are doing with Rewild Portland. I can write more as I figure things out, but I thought why re-invent the wheel? Is there anyone else out there working to diversify rewilding? What steps have you taken? What has been successful?
