Any suggestions on how to clean a beaver skull i found while visiting my family in CO. I doubt my civilized mother would enjoy me boiling a skin’on skull on Giving Thanks Day morning. also i am flying home. clean it now or wrap it up and try to fly with a decomposing head? help is appreciated.
Freeze it in a ziplock bag. Take it out of the freezer just as you are heading to the airport, wrap it up in a bunch of layers of newspaper and put it in a box. It will probably be just thawed out when you get home and then you can deal with it there.
