Meeps has been bringing us dead birds lately. She is a bowl-fed cat. So she isn’t eating them.
How do I go about cleaning them for eating? (Juncos and Common Yellow throats)
I’m not familar with the interiors of a bird btw.
Any help is appreciated

The easiest way to clean a bird is to cut down the belly… take EVERYTHING out thats inside. cut off the head, feet and wings, and Peel the skin off… much easier than trying to pluck, altho you loose good fat that way, but if a small bird it’s too mych work for not enuf calories. If you just strip the skin (and feathers0 off of several birds you can have a meal in just a few minutes.
