I am continually frustrated by the number of resource sites that go under and end up as a domain name for sale.
It seems that there just isn’t the monetary support for many of the sites, and since it does always come down to money, the non-capitalist trying to disseminate information loses.
Did anyone get to check out www.flag.blackened.net before it vanished?
Anyways my latest annoyance came today when I was looking under the subject heading of ‘domestication’ on www.greenanarchy.info.
I came across a piece by Rick Reese entitled ‘Hominids and domestication’,
I thought that it sounded interesting and when I clicked on it, the site it was hosted on www.re-wild.com it was gone!
I hadn’t anyluck googling it.
Has anyone read this, or has a copy of it, or has read anything still available that is similar?
My apologies if this is the lamest topic ever…
i feel your pain, dude. i hate having a resource that i love that i come back to only to find that it has vanished–or finding a link from a working site, thinking “finally, i found what i was looking for” only to click it and wind up at a dead end.
Here is what you may have been looking for. The Wayback Machine over at archive.org is sometimes good at finding old webpages or articles. Just make sure that when you find a page you like to submit it (this requires registering, but a small price to pay for certain things to not become lost). Furl.net sometimes can find what you’re looking for, too, but does not archive entire websites, just pages submitted singly.
That is so great!
Thank you so much!

It’s interesting, I was listening to a talk by Kevin Tucker today and he was saying the same things, almost verbatim at times.
Welcome. Where’d you hear this KT talk at?
it was on myspace actually.
it was the only recording I’ve heard of him,
and I’ve never heard him, Jensen, or Zerzan live…
