Photos from Rewild in Irving Park

Hi all! I wasn’t sure where to post this as I’ve just now jumped on the boards for the sole purpose of sharing these photos, but I figure a board about Grief & Praise (that seems to be 90% grief at this moment) could use a little praise.

So, back in June I went through a stroll in Irving Park and came upon one of the weekly Saturday skill-share events. I asked the folks present if it’d be okay to shoot them doing their thing and the results were pretty sweet.

There are four photos in total that you can view on my blog, here: http://www.kmillerphotographs.com/blog/photography/film-photography-2/portland-rewild/

They were all shot on my Rolleiflex 2.8C, which is a TLR (or “Twin Lens Reflex”) camera from the 50’s that shoots 120mm, a film format that has been seeing its own major revival in the last decade. What better way to honor a group such as yourself than by sharing photos that were taken on a once-dying format?

Enjoy!

Those are beautiful! Thanks!

Nice photos.

Caught someone wearing sandals in the knapping pit  lol
