Herb books

I’m looking for good, reliable, detailed books about herbs and their uses, where/how to find them, how to process/apply them, etc.

I’ve been putting it off a bit, but with all this ‘Bill C51/52’ stuff going down soon, I want to get books while I know I can, and learn some stuff while I can do so openly.
I already know most local plants, but I’m still unsure about using most of them, and my location may change in the future.

Any suggestions?

kveldulf, which region(s) of the world do you want to want the books to focus on?

Northern temperate areas, mainly in N. America and Europe. I currently live on the eastern border of Cascadia, but I want to know about stuff from other places, partly out of interest, partly because I could end up anywhere.

Michael Moore’s Medicinal Plants of the Pacific West or Medicinal Plants of the Mountain West would do good. I also recommend Gregory Tilford’s From Earth to Herbalist.
