Bundle Bows

Since a bow is really useful, but takes a long time to make, a good compromise in a “survival” situation (however you define that) is a bundle bow. Basically, you just take a half dozen or so thin branches or shoots, each one shorter than the last by a few inches, and bind them together with some cordage in a bundle in order of length, all centered. Add a string and you have yourself a temporary bow. It won’t win any contests, but it will keep you fed until you finish a nicer bow.

awsome thanks for that dan !

If y’all do a search in google images you’ll find a few diagrams on these things
