Loving this thread. One thing to say now, perhaps more later. Ive thought as well that originally, auðumbla and Ymir were the same. Many neo-pagans look to the God/dess as looking like an anthropomorphic elk or deer, but I always thought hit should be a human-like wisent (bison) and include patches of things like stars and mountains on hit’s body, plants for hair, moon and sun for eyes and a great tree for the spine.
