Those things make me uncomfortable, too.
I may be reaching out on a limb here, but based on a few of TheJoker’s other posts (1, 2, 3,) I would guess that his asking of this question stems more from a desire to find someone to go live in the woods with him than a genuine question about the gender balance in the anarcho-primitivist movement.
I live in a semi rewilding comunnity with 3 guys and 5 girls. and from what I hear that seems to be a comfortable ratio. We have had problems with “leader roles” and have been slowly making our home a more balanced atmospher. We had a go around at a house meeting and realized that all the wymin were discouradged from contributing in conversation and talked over growing up. They were unheard because some one was louder and more comfortable cutting people off. That is not a dynamic most people seek, and it exists everywhere. If we are all more concious of how much space we take up and what atmospher we create, we will notice the girls more.
not just the ladies. I’ve had that issue with just about every human interaction I’ve ever had.
Having a domineering personality is a problem regardless of gender, we all suffer from it. Yet, for the most part its a dude problem, learned and taught.
To answer the original question, there aren’t many because not enough of the “male” ones have come out as being “female” yet. How about it Joker? Should you be the womyn or should I?

Ai think many men do need to see the issues with being raised to be overly agressive. Personally, aim gonna start “Cant-talk-in-a-crowders Anonymous”, cause ai cant. Aim just not agressive, unless someone else is and ai cant see a way arround it.
