Two books for rewilders

For those who wish to locate as rewilders these two books can help lead you to ID plants. “Foraging The Mountain West” by Thomas J.Elpel , this is a fine book and is in full color, does include some hunting of critters. I have maybe 75 books on plant ID this is one of the best.

“Foraging California” by Christopher Nyerges, I have studied with Christopher for over 20 years this is his latest book on plants, a man at the top of his game. Many of these plants are found all over the USA, full color with how to prepare and other informative notes.

Dude

I live in the East, but agree that Elpel’s book is top notch. I also like books by Thayer, Kallas, Haines, Meridith, and Deur.
